Hello all, I admired your site so much I just had to join....even though I haven't taken French since I was a boy in the third grade. I hope to muddle through, though, and my French is certain to improve. I LOVE all aspects of blowgunning and hope I can contribute to the effort toward gaining Olympic acceptance. I look forward to talking to you all and hope to meet and compete with you someday. -Mark (Sphingid56)

Sphingid56 has recently confessed to me that he only hits the bullseye 40 percent of the time. But if the rest of his darts are not in the blue his average is 186 at 10 meters. I believe he will do well once he sorts out the "spiders"!

I miscalculated! 60% would be 186, 40% with no blue would be 174. Still not bad.

Thanks for the welcome StJo, and the numbers Neondog. I have refrained from shooting while my right arm is still in a sling as I don't want to pick up any bad habits that may effect me later. But when I can practice, again, I hope to increase my average. "Spiders"...that's a good term! Here's a question for the rest of you...How many of you use front-mounted sights and what kind(type/configuration) are they? Thanks -Mark

For the sights ? hahaha...
I forget mine (simple) for the Open...

But I want to keep my blowgun linear, and symetrical, that's important in my brain for shooting
